Hyperlocal is an AI-powered newsroom for the Cayman Islands. It reads every source across the islands — more than forty of them — merges the duplicates, and hands readers the whole day in a five-minute briefing. Curated around the clock, built to cut through rather than to keep you scrolling.
Why
Island news is scattered across dozens of outlets, radio rundowns, and social feeds, and the same story often appears ten times in ten places. Hyperlocal treats that fragmentation as a design problem: one clean read per story, every source cited, no engagement bait, no infinite scroll.
How it works
An AI newsroom scores every story for what actually matters locally — curated, not ranked. Ten versions of one story become a single merged read. The live feed updates hourly; twice-daily briefings go out as an AI news show on the site and in podcast apps, alongside an events calendar and HLTV, the streaming channel.
"The whole island, caught up, before your coffee has a chance to go cold."
The product family
The Feed at feed.hyperlocal.news is the core reading experience — live wire, trending, today's edition, and settings that let readers hide gossip or fold in global stories. Television lives at tv.hyperlocal.news and the news show ships over podcast RSS. One brand, three surfaces, a single editorial voice.
